Support Time

My site is small, do I still need a plan?
All websites, no matter the size, require regular maintenance. Just as you keep your home and car maintained, your website needs care to keep it secure and running smoothly. This also helps avoid costly repairs in the future.
428 didn't build my site, am I eligible for a plan?
Yes! We welcome clients seeking of a long-term partnership with a dedicated web team.
To get started, we will perform a website audit to become familiar with the website and how it was built. We will evaluate the theme and plugins as well as any potential issues that might arise.
We include all the technical fixes that we find with the health check. You will receive a detailed report of any issues and suggestions for improvement needed to proceed with the website on a monthly plan.
The website audit is a one-time fee and includes 2 hours to work on the recommendations from the report.
Is hosting included?
No, we do not offer website hosting. However, we will liaise with your host should any issues arise or server adjustments are needed. We can also provide our recommended hosts for WordPress.
Can I really cancel any time?
Absolutely.
We are all about building a valuable relationship with you, so we would hate to see you go, but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions. Your plan can also be upgraded or downgraded at any time. We do request a 30-day notice when changing your care plan subscription.
How does the monthly support time work?
To request an update, you simply send an email with your request to our support desk, which creates a support ticket in our system to communicate with you on the status of your request efficiently. You can also view the status of your tickets via your 428 account.
Support requests include content edits, adding new images and videos, making style adjustments, uploading blog posts, and adding new pages with your provided content.
Support requests do not include content creation, graphic design, custom functionality (e.g., adding e-commerce or a membership portal), or significant structural changes.
Does the monthly support time roll over?
Our support time is a retainer. This monthly time is there for you to reserve your place in our queue and our resources each month.
Time does not roll over for Basic and Business plans. However, your requests will be addressed by our team with immediate attention.
Our Business Plus plan is the only plan that allows unused support time to roll over. Time will reset one year after the signup date.
What if we use more than our monthly time?
Support time overage will be billed at the end of each quarter at our regular hourly rate. You can monitor your logged support time inside your project portal.
For ad hoc projects requiring more time, we have time blocks available at a reduced hourly rate. Time blocks can also be used as a bank of hours to cover any overages.
I don't need support time, is there a cheaper plan?
If you don’t need to send in support tickets for content updates and still want to ensure your site is secure and performing well, we have a maintenance-only plan for $85/month. Please note that if you need to make content updates or fixes, you’ll be billed our current hourly rate.
How to strategy sessions work?
Strategy sessions are available on our Business and Business Plus plans and help focus the trajectory of the website for growth and improvements. Sessions are often used for reviewing updates and planning for the week/month.
